Brewers reliever Devin Williams was left off the Milwaukee roster for the wild-card series against the Los Angeles Dodgers, the team announced Wednesday.
Game 1 is Wednesday night in L.A.
Williams, 26, has been dealing with an arm issue, ESPN reported.
Williams, a National League Rookie of the Year candidate, posted a 0.33 ERA in 27 innings pitched for the Brewers in the regular season. The righty struck out 53 against nine walks while going 4-1. He was named NL reliever of the month for September.
The Brewers finished 29-31, earning the postseason berth on Sunday, the last day of the regular season.
The Brewers are going with opener Brent Suter against Dodgers right-hander Walker Buehler in Game 1.
