The decisions you make in the coming days could ultimately define your fantasy season, so you'd better choose wisely.
Will McFadden
We're on the doorstep of fantasy playoffs. The decisions you make in the coming days could ultimately define your season, so you'd better choose wisely.
To make matters even more challenging, four teams are on bye, and each has players who have been impactful in fantasy this season. These are tricky waters to navigate, but you've come to the right place.
Throughout the season, I'll help you build the perfect lineup and become a league legend. Each week, I will recommend three starters at each position as well as a waiver pickup I really like. I will also spotlight one Falcons player in each section.
It's not all too difficult to tell someone to start Bijan Robinson or Josh Allen on any given week, and I assume everyone reading this right now would already know to do so. Therefore, I'll try to focus these recommendations on players who might be on the starting or flex bubble.
Bucky Irving vs. New Orleans Saints
After missing the last seven games, Irving returned and finished as the RB14 in Week 13. He only played slightly more than 50% of the Bucs' offensive snaps, which suggests a lot of untapped upside for fantasy owners down the stretch.
Travis Etienne Jr. vs. Indianapolis Colts
Etienne took a step back in a favorable matchup against Tennessee after four straight games of solid returns. The game script could tilt away from him in this one, but there's also a good chance Jacksonville tries to play a possession game and lean on the run.
D'Andre Swift at Green Bay Packers
Swift had been dormant for the last month until he ran all over the Philadelphia Eagles' defense and finished as the RB2 with 138 total yards and a touchdown. This is a tougher run defense, but he's got a big workload to bank on.
Waiver start Blake Corum at Arizona Cardinals
Although it appears Kyren William will play through the injury he sustained Sunday, I'm still bullish on Corum. He's been handling a bigger role after the Rams' bye week and had a breakout game against Carolina. I think both L.A. backs have value in this one.
Falcons spotlight Tyler Allgeier vs. Seattle Seahawks
Despite serving as the No. 2 in Atlanta's offense, Allgeier leads the team in touchdowns with eight. Against a Seattle defense that's been tough against the run, both Falcons backs will have their work cut out for them. But there's at least a chance Allgeier can score from close.
Jaylen Waddle at New York Jets
The Jets largely shut down Atlanta's wide receivers in Week 13, but Waddle is a different sort of challenge. He'll likely need to reach the end zone to put up big numbers, but with six touchdowns already this season, that could easily happen.
Emeka Egbuka vs. New Orleans Saints
Egbuka took a backseat to Chris Godwin, at least in terms of receiving yards, in Tampa Bay's win against Arizona, and he's cooled off of late. It's in the Bucs' best interest to get him going, though, and he still commands about nine targets a game.
Christian Watson vs. Chicago Bears
With two top-12 finishes in the last three weeks, Watson has found his stride and looks like the clear No. 1 option for Jordan Love. He was eating good on Thanksgiving, too, with 10 targets and a rushing attempt. Plug him in for this rivalry game.
Waiver start Isaac Teslaa vs. Dallas Cowboys
The most recent reports indicate Amon-Ra St. Brown will be a game-time decision for Detroit. If he's unable to suit up on a short week, Teslaa could be in for a big day with an elevated role. Snag him and keep an eye out for the news on Thursday night.
Falcons spotlight Drake London vs. Seattle Seahawks
There seemed to be some positive news regarding London's recovery from his knee injury. Instead of getting the "week to week" label from head coach Raheem Morris, as had been the case for two weeks, London was deemed "day to day." If he's back, he could see a lot of work in a potential shootout.
Mark Andrews vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
Few tight ends aren't subject to weekly volatility, but Andrews seems especially boom-bust in 2025. He's got just as many finishes inside of the top five at the position as he does outside of the top 32. This feels like a tight end game to me, though.
Dallas Goedert at Los Angeles Chargers
Since the Eagles' bye in Week 9, Goedert has been hard to keep in starting lineups. His hot start was largely buoyed by his seven touchdowns second most among tight ends but he's got an easy final stretch, and the Chargers have allowed six scores to the position.
Darren Waller at New York Jets
It took Waller no time at all to catch fire once he stepped onto the field for the Dolphins to start the season. He's a favorite in the red zone, which could mean big days ahead, and Kyle Pitts just had his best game of the year against the Jets.
Waiver start Brenton Strange vs. Indianapolis Colts
The Colts have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to tight ends this season, and Strange has been a top-five player at the position the last two weeks. Pick him up and plug him in.
Falcons spotlight Kyle Pitts vs. Seattle Seahawks
He's coming off his best game of the season, and could keep that going against a Seattle defense that has been tough against wideouts but allows the fifth-most points to tight ends. Pitts is especially appealing if Drake London misses another game.
Joe Burrow at Buffalo Bills
🎶 If I could, then I would. I'll go wherever you will, Joe. 🎶
Jordan Love vs. Chicago Bears
Goff has been hit or miss this year, but it's hard not to play him after that four-touchdown performance on Thanksgiving. The Bears force a lot of turnovers, but they also give up a bunch of yards and touchdowns.
Jared Goff vs. Dallas Cowboys
With back-to-back, top-1o finishes, Goff has rebounded from his struggles against the Eagles. He's played well against the easier defenses on the schedule this year, and the Cowboys are another great matchup. Put Goff in the lineup this week.
Waiver start Tyrod Taylor vs. Miami Dolphins
Taylor finished as the QB7 in Week 13 and looked pretty good against the Falcons in gross weather. The Dolphins should be an easier defensive matchup, and his rushing ability is enticing if your starter is on bye.
Falcons spotlight Kirk Cousins vs. Seattle Seahawks
Cousins' fantasy numbers haven't been anything to write home about the last two weeks, but his real-life play has been strong. If Sunday's game against Seattle does turn into a high-scoring affair, Cousins is capable of sneaking into the top 10 for the week.
