The Chicago Bulls are acquiring guards Jaden Ivey of the Detroit Pistons and Mike Conley Jr. of the Minnesota Timberwolves, ESPN reported on Tuesday.
In exchange, Chicago will send swingman Kevin Huerter and center Dario Saric to Detroit. The Pistons also receive a 2026 first-round protected pick swap from Minnesota, per the report.
The Timberwolves' participation in the deal is reportedly to create tax savings and roster space for an additional trade, with Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo a desired acquisition.
The NBA trade deadline is Thursday at 3 p.m. ET.
Ivey, who turns 24 on Feb. 13, is averaging 8.2 points and 16.8 minutes in 33 games (two starts) this season. He was Detroit's first-round pick (fifth overall) in 2022. He missed significant time last season with a broken leg and more time this season with a knee injury.
Conley, 38, is averaging 4.4 points and 2.9 assists in 44 games (nine starts) in his 19th season in the league. The one-time All-Star has been with the Timberwolves since the 2023 trade deadline.
Huerter, 27, is averaging 10.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 44 games (11 starts) this season. Chicago added him at the trade deadline last season from the Sacramento Kings.
Saric, 31, is a nine-year NBA veteran but has only appeared in five games this season. He just joined the Bulls in a trade from the Kings on Monday.
