With Green Bay not owning a first-round pick in the upcoming draft, this year's Prospect Primer series will take a position-by-position look at players projected as Day 2 selections (Rounds 2-3) potentially available to the Packers, who have the No. 52 and 84 overall selections on the second day of the draft.
Here's a trio of offensive tackles:
Caleb Tiernan, Northwestern
Ht/Wt:6-8, 323
News & notes:Michigan native had offers from Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State but chose Northwestern and spent five years there Started 38 games at left tackle over the last three seasons after starting five games at right tackle as a redshirt freshman in 2022 Finished his college career in 2025 as a team captain, second-team All-Big Ten selection, and the third-ranked offensive tackle in the Big Ten (ninth nationally) according to PFF's pass-blocking grades Didn't allow a sack in eight of nine conference games last year, allowed just one sack over the final six games of 2024, and did not allow a QB hit for eight consecutive games in 2023 Might be a candidate to move inside to guard in the NFL Recorded an impressive 35-inch vertical jump at the combine Named Academic All-Big Ten multiple times Also played basketball at Detroit-area high school.
Austin Barber, Florida
Ht/Wt:6-7, 318
News & notes:Florida native stayed in his home state and spent five years with the Gators, starting 33 games at left tackle over the past three seasons and logging more than 2,000 snaps in that time Started five games at right tackle as a redshirt freshman in 2022 Named third-team All-SEC in 2025 and four-time SEC academic honor roll recipient Seen as a potential swing tackle in the NFL Could still be available on Day 3, where he'd be considered a high-value pick Also played basketball at Jacksonville-area high school.
Isaiah World, Oregon
Ht/Wt:6-8, 318
News & notes:California native played three seasons at Nevada before finishing his college career with one year at Oregon Started 10 games as a redshirt freshman in 2022 at Nevada, most of them at right tackle, then started 25 games, all at left tackle, in the 2023-24 seasons In his one season at Oregon, started 14 games at left tackle and earned second-team All-Big Ten recognition, but tore the ACL in his left knee in the CFP semifinal/Peach Bowl against eventual national champ Indiana in early January Did not attend the combine due to the injury and could become a Day 3 selection as a result Considered a high-character player with raw tools and a potential swing tackle once healthy and developing at the next level.
