The Green Bay Packers announced promotions in the player personnel department. The announcements were made Tuesday by General Manager Brian Gutekunst.
Milt Hendricksonis entering his 22nd season in the NFL and eighth with the Packers. After seven seasons as the director football operations, he has been promoted to vice president of player personnel. Hendrickson, whose first NFL experience came as a training-camp intern for Green Bay in 2004, worked in the personnel department of the Baltimore Ravens (2005-18). During his time in Baltimore, Hendrickson was a player personnel assistant in 2005, worked primarily with the pro personnel staff in 2006-07, was promoted to Midwest area scout after the 2008 NFL Draft, was named mid-regional scout following the 2013 NFL Draft and was promoted to national scout after the 2016 NFL Draft. Prior to joining the Ravens, Hendrickson was a coach in high school and college. In 2026, he represented the Packers at the NFL's Coach and Front Office Accelerator.
John Wojciechowski(woh-jih-cow-skee), who is entering his 31st season in the NFL and his 14th with the Packers, has been promoted to director football operations after working as the co-director of player personnel for the past eight seasons. He also was the director of pro personnel (2017) and a college scout (2012-16) for the Packers. Prior to joining Green Bay, Wojciechowski was a college scout for the Dallas Cowboys (2003-11) and Jacksonville Jaguars (1998-2002) following two seasons as a player personnel assistant with the Pittsburgh Steelers (1996-97).
Richmond Williams, who is entering his 19th season with the Packers, has been promoted to director of player personnel after five years as director of pro personnel. Williams spent two seasons as a pro scout (2017-18) and five seasons as a college scout (2012-16) for the Packers. He also served as the team's National Football Scouting representative to the annual NFL Scouting Combine and authored evaluations of all prospective seniors in the Southwest region. From 2022-24, he represented the Packers at the NFL's Coach and Front Office Accelerator.
Lee Gissendaner, who is in his 26th season overall with the Packers, adds director of pro scouting to his title after working as a senior player personnel executive for the past four years. Gissendaner previously worked as a player personnel executive for Green Bay from 2018-21. He spent three seasons as a national scout for the New York Jets (2015-17). Gissendaner originally joined Green Bay in 1998 as the team's representative in the National Scouting Service. In 2001, he was promoted to area scout, a position he worked in for the Packers for 14 years. In 2022, he was selected to represent the Packers at the Stanford-NFL League of Leaders executive education program.
Matt Malaspina(mal-eh-SPEEN-ah), who enters his 28th NFL season and his 10th with the Packers, has been promoted to senior player personnel executive. After being hired as a college scout in 2017, he has worked as the director of college scouting since 2018. Malaspina joined Green Bay after spending 12 seasons (2005-16) with the San Francisco 49ers. He was an area scout for the Seattle Seahawks from 2000-04 and for the Carolina Panthers in 1999. Malaspina also spent time with National Football Scouting in 1998.
Pat Moorehas been promoted to director of college scouting after working as the assistant director of college scouting (2021-25) and a college scout (2018-20) for the Packers. He joined Green Bay after spending five seasons as a scout for the Cleveland Browns. Prior to his stint in Cleveland, he was on the coaching staff at Fordham University for five seasons, serving as assistant head coach/offensive line (2010-11), defensive coordinator (2009) and linebackers/special teams coach (2007-08). Moore also held collegiate coaching positions at Louisiana Tech (2005-06), Auburn (2002-04), Western Carolina (2000-01) and at his alma mater, Illinois Wesleyan (1997).
Sam Seale, who heads into his 32nd season scouting for the Packers, has been promoted to senior national scout after eight years as a national scout. He has also worked as the West regional scout (2012-17) and college scout (1995-2011) for Green Bay. The former 10-year NFL veteran was recognized as the NFC Scout of the Year at the Fritz Pollard Alliance Meeting, which took place during the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine.
Luke Benuska(ben-OO-ska), who is in his 11th season with the Packers, has been promoted to national scout after working as a college scout for the past eight seasons (2018-25). He originally joined Green Bay as a scouting intern in the personnel department during the 2016 season and served as a pro scout for the Packers in 2017. Prior to his time with Green Bay, Benuska worked in the football recruiting office at his alma mater, TCU.
Mike Owen, who is entering his 15th season with the club, has been promoted to assistant director of pro scouting after working as a national scout last season. He came to Green Bay in 2012 and worked as a college scout until 2025. Prior to joining Green Bay, he spent two seasons as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Riverhead (N.Y.) High School, where he coached tight ends and helped with linebackers. Owen was a four-year letterman (2006-09) at Syracuse University, where he played tight end, defensive end and linebacker and was elected as a team captain as a senior.
