LYON and Team Liquid maintained their winning pace and became the first two teams to pick up their third wins of the League Championship Series Summer Split on Sunday.

LYON swept Dignitas 2-0 before Team Liquid did the same to FlyQuest, both winners improving to 3-0 after three weeks of competition.

The LCS Summer Split is an eight-team event that began July 25 and will run through the finals in October. The seven-week round-robin regular season -- in which all teams play each other once in a best-of-three match -- will set the field for the six-team playoffs.

The top two teams in the regular season will advance to the playoff semifinals, while the third- through sixth-place teams will advance to the quarters. The bottom two teams in the standings are eliminated.

The playoffs, which run Sept. 12 through Oct. 4, are best-of-five and double elimination. The top three teams will advance to the World Championship, played in New York, Los Angeles and Allen, Texas, from Oct. 15 through Nov. 14.

Kim 'Berserker' Min-cheol of South Korea shone for LYON on Sunday, racking up 11 kills without a single death in the two-game sweep of Dignitas.

For Team Liquid, Lim 'Quid' Hyeon-seung of South Korea rang up a 14-2-15 total K-D-A in two maps against FlyQuest, while his teammates, South Korea's Park 'Morgan' Ru-han and American Sean 'Yeon' Sung, chipped in 10 kills apiece.
