The Seattle Reign have signed Ivorian forward Ami Diallo through the 2028 NWSL season, the club announced Tuesday.
Diallo, 25, arrives for an undisclosed transfer fee from ASEC Mimosas after leading them to a second straight Ivorian Division 1 title and a run to the CAF Women's Champions League final.
She contributed 31 goals during the 2025-26 domestic campaign, second most in the league.
'Ami is a dynamic attacking player who has already shown her ability to produce at a high level, and we believe she has tremendous potential to continue growing in our environment,' Reign general manager Lesle Gallimore said. 'She brings quality, athleticism and a competitive mentality to our group, and her experience competing on the international stage will serve her well as she makes the transition to the NWSL. We're excited to welcome Ami to Seattle and help her take the next step in her career.'Diallo was one of three finalists for the 2025 CAF Women's Interclub Player of the Year award.
'I'm very excited to join Seattle Reign FC and begin this next chapter of my career in the NWSL,' she said. 'I'm looking forward to joining my new teammates, competing in a new league and giving everything I have for this club. I can't wait to get to Seattle and meet the fans.'
Diallo is set to arrive in Seattle in the coming weeks, pending receipt of her P-1 visa.
