At the very top of 2026 Fantasy Football drafts, a trio of elite wide receivers will fly off the board, including Seahawks standoutJaxon Smith-Njigba, along with Ja'Marr Chase and Puka Nacua. To have a good shot of landing any of those three headliners, you will likely have to be in a top 6 draft slot in the first round of leagues that do not allow two starting quarterbacks.
Beyond the top 3, there are approximately 10 more WRs that can be considered as possible No. 1 fantasy options at the position. Any WR in the top 20 should function as a quality No. 2 fantasy WR, and some carry WR1 promise. The true fantasy WR2 grouping for 2026 runs though the top 26 guys at the position.
The more optimal fantasy WR3 options last through the top 40 or so, including a handful of players that might outperform the preseason rankings featured here. After the top 40, the fun begins when picking off sleepers and value plays, with several rookies being worthy of later picks.
We break down the fantasy football WR position for 2026 here, with rankings and analysis based on Point Per Reception (PPR) formats. Following the analysis, you will see my top 40 WR rankings, with even deeper ranksavailable on RotoBaller.com.
Players are listed in order ofAverage Draft Positionsin the analysis, and the top 40 rankings will differ than some of the ADPs seen in the article.
Heading into the 2026 fantasy football season, there is a clear "Big Three" among wide receivers.Ja'Marr Chase, Jaxon Smith-Njigba andPuka Nacuaare all being selected within the top half of the first round, according to the most recent Average Draft Position Reports. Chase has an ADP of 3.1, Nacua is at 3.9 and Smith-Njigba is at 5.6 overall.
Over the past two seasons, Chase has caught 125-plus passes with 1,400-plus yards in each campaign. Two years ago, when Joe Burrow played 17 games, Chase caught 17 TD passes, which istied forthe fourth-most in a season all-time. If his QB can play for a full season, Chase will be well worth the third pick overall behindJahmyr Gibbs and Bijan Robinsonin fantasy leagueswhere players start one QB.
Most WRs don't have a higher statistical floor than Smith-Njigba, who finished second at his position in Fantasy Points Per Game (21.6) and overall points (345.5) in 2025. He registered the most fantasy-points for a Seahawks non-QB position player since Shaun Alexander posted 376.8 in his MVP season of 2005. The 345.5 fantasy points are also the third-most byany Seahawks player in team history..
When he was still easing into a larger role in 2024, JSN still caught 100 passes for 1,130 yards. Becoming theunrivaled No.1 pass-catcher for the Seahawksled to him becoming the first player in franchise history to lead the NFL in receiving yards in 40 years, with 1,793. The2025 NFL Offensive Player of the Year alsoled the league with nine 100-yard games.
Smith-Njigba set Seahawks records with his yardage total and 113 receptions, while also catching 10 TD passes. He never finished with less than 13.0 PPR points in a game and posted less than 15.0 only twice through Week 17. JSN was incredibly consistent and reliable for fantasy purposes all year and finding that sort of weekly dependability is not easy at all.
Opposing defenses regularly zoomed in on Smith-Njigba as the primary player to focus on in their weekly game plans, yet he proved to be impossible to contain for a full game. JSN is not only one of the best route-runners and masters of technique in the game, he also frequently displays outstanding separation gears. The Seahawks' newest offensive superstar significantly challenges defenses at every level, and he is not hesitant to challenge defenders on any type of catch, even in traffic.
JSN is such a rare talent who continually burns defenders even when they are always trying to limit him. His role in the Seahawks' offense should remain much the same, and with his complementary cast ofpass-catchers looking very deep this year, Smith-Njigba is an ideal fantasy pick from the No. 4 to 6 slots overall. His current ADP is the highest for any Seahawks player since Marshawn Lynch was being taken in the range of fifth overall in 2015.
In terms of pure size, strength and physicality, Nacua may be the most fearsome WR in the league. He delivered the best season of his career in Year Three, catching 129 passes for 1,715 yards and 10 TDs despite missing one game. Nacua possesses a nearly unmatchable combination of tremendous upside and high-level consistency. His only minor concern is availability, and he missed six games in 2024.
Amon-Ra St. Brown(ADP of 7.1) will be the fourth WR off the board in many drafts. He soars above most of the competition in terms of consistency. ARSB has finished as the No. 3 WR in fantasy football in each of the past three seasons.CeeDee Lamb(10.9) remains the prime target in the NFC's busiest passing game, and he dealt with ankle and concussion last season. He finished as a top 5 fantasy WR in the last two seasons where he did not miss a game, so expect a return to previous levels of output.
Much optimism surroundsJustin Jeffersonto come through with a big bounce-back campaign as he works with QB Kyler Murray for the first time. There is a slight drop-off in ADPs after the top 5, asDrake Londonis at 19th overall. If Atlanta can stabilize its QB situation, London has top 5 potential for 2026. He ranked sixth in Fantasy Points Per Game (18.1) at WR last season.
A.J. Brown(20.5) should be a good pick as a top 10-12 fantasy WR, as he could outperform his No. 11 overall finish last year as the new No. 1 WR for Drake Maye.Nico Collins(23.1) finished as a top 12 fantasy WR in two of the past three years and we may not have seen his best season yet.
George Pickens(24) is an excellent pick as a top fantasy WR2, but proved he could also function as a WR1 if needed for that fantasy role. Lamb and Pickens combine to form arguably the best WR duo in the NFL. Dak Prescott has led the league in completions in two of the past three seasons. Lamb and Pickens prevent defenses from focusing too much on one prime WR, because Dallas employs two standouts.
Rashee Rice(25.1) is recovering from knee surgery, and his availability is also a minor concern and pushes his ADP down slightly.Malik Nabers(28.0) is also coming back from a knee injury, but he has looked very good in training camp and could outperform his ADP.Chris Olave(28.9) posted the best fantasy numbers of his career last year, finishing as WR6. Olave caught a career-high nine TD passes and will again be the most productive pass-catcher in an ascending offense.
DeVonta Smith(30.1) will operate as a No. 1 WR for the Eagles for the first time this season, and he has a path to his best fantasy campaign yet in a reworked offense.
Zay Flowers(33.6) posted a career-high 1,211 receiving yards last year and finished as fantasy WR7. He might push for another finish in that range if Flowers increases his TD totals in 2026.Emeka Egbuka(34.9) is dealing with a toe injury, but he reportedly should be ready for the regular season. Take the shot if he falls below his current ADP in your draft. Sometimes, preseason injuries can be long forgotten a few weeks into the regular season,
Tee Higgins(38.0) is one of the better real-life No. 2 WRs for fantasy production. He has caught 21 TD passes over the past two seasons.Garrett Wilson(38.9) is another WR who might be headed for a career year, as he works withformer Seahawks QB Geno Smith. The veteran QB might rebound for a respectable season with the team that first drafted him.
Tetairoa McMillanis the unquestioned No. 1 WR for Carolina, and fantasy leaguers who draft him can hope for more pro progress in his second season. A top 15 fantasy WR showing is certainly possible.Ladd McConkey(42.0) finished as WR13 two years ago and can return to that range in a revitalized Chargers offense . Ex-DolphinJaylen Waddle(42.8) has renewed upside, as he moved to Denver,
A healthyTerry McLaurin(48.5) might be a good value at his current ADP if both he and Jayden Daniels stay on the field for most of the upcoming season.Luther Burden III(48.9) is working through a preseason groin injury that marks him as a value at the current ADP. He is a possible breakthrough performer with big-play potential.
Davante Adams(50.3) is still a very busy TD producer for the outstanding Rams offense.Jameson Williams(54.5) can help you win some fantasy weeks with his better outings.DJ Moore(54.8) gives the Bills the dependable No.1 WR they have been seeking, and he might outperform his ADP.Mike Evans(59.4) is the new No. 1 WR for the 49ers. He can still be a frequent TD target when available.
Rome Odunze(59.8) is another breakout type from the Bears offense, and he might function as the steasy one while Burden is the explosive option for Caleb Williams.Christian Watson(61.5) is the top fantasy WR target in a Green Bay passing game that spreads the ball around often.
Carnell Tate(65.1) is the highest-rated rookie as the new No. 1 WR in Tennessee. If the Titans' passing game can progressively improve, Tate's fantasy production may rise as the season moves on.Parker Washington(69.9) is a recommended value target as the possible top fantasy producer at WR for Jacksonville.Marvin Harrison Jr.(69.9) has the talent and abilities to perform at a top 15 fantasy WR level.
Brian Thomas Jr. (72.8) is another bounce-back player to consider as Trevor Lawrence possibly delivers his best season so far.
Michael Wilson(95.4) performed at a very high level last year when Harrison was out for Arizona, and he is worth taking a shot on at his ADP.Josh Downs(95.6) is another value play from the Colts 'WR room.
Matthew Golden(114.4) could emerge as a viable starter for the Packers in his second year.Rashid Shaheedof the Seahawksmight be on the verge of a good year as a WR, consideringhe was on the roster from the start of training campthis year.De'Zhaun Stribling(159.8) has stirred a lot of buzz in 49ers camp, and he should be drafted higher than his ADP going forward.Jalen Nailor(163.4) is being overlooked as a possible top pass-catcher for Las Vegas.
Tre Harris(169.5) may function as a good downfield option for the Chargers.Dontayvion Wicks(189.8) might produce more in Philadelphia than he did in Green Bay. RookieCyrus Allen(219.5) has been one of the stars of the preseason in Kansas City.
Caleb Douglas(249.6) is an ideal example of how rookie WRs picked in the later rounds are potentially terrific later-round fantasy targets. The Dolphins' new downfield target might start for Miami in his first NFL season.Ja'Kobi Laneof the Ravens is another first-year WR who is making a strong impression in the preseason.
Raiders rookieMalik Bensonis totally off the ADP radar, but he is pushing for the No.3 WR job in Las Vegas and there is a path to many reps for him.Ja'Kobi Laneof the Ravens is another first-year WR who is making another strong impression in the preseason.Tory Hortonof the Seahawksisback in actionand should be on your watch list as a deep sleeper and possible waiver wire add when the season starts.
Players who I rank higher than their ADPs are value targets, and are highlighted in italics.
