Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], September 4 (ANI): BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Friday inaugurated the new office of Conster Solutions at the Phoenix Prijma building in Hyderabad's Financial District and said businesses related to data, data centres, servers, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and content are poised for significant growth.

Addressing the gathering at the inauguration, KTR spoke about the changing technology landscape and the opportunities it offers to employees in terms of career and future growth.

He said, 'I am sure all of you are expectant of what this is going to offer you in terms of career growth, in terms of future growth opportunities, etc. It's important to have ambience all around you when you're working so hard. You work long hours, different time zones, strategy, different parts of the world, and work together with multiple customers across the world. So I know what it takes because I have been in your shoes about 20-plus years ago."

Recalling his own experience of working in the corporate sector in the United States, KTR said he understood the demands of working in the technology industry and highlighted how much the sector has changed over the past two decades.

"I was also working in the corporate world. I worked for about seven years in the United States. I went to school there, then worked subsequently. So I really know what it takes to be doing what you're doing. But things have changed in the last 20 years; multiple things have changed. And today I can tell you with a lot of confidence that, having witnessed the tech world from the government side and also from the industry side closely, I can tell you this is the age and this is the time when I think all of us, especially in data business, in the business of data centres, in the business of servers, in the business of Artificial Intelligence (AI), in the business of whatever it is, in the business of content essentially, are going to have a great time," he said.

KTR also spoke about the rapid growth in content consumption, particularly among younger generations, and said the way people access information has changed significantly.

He further stated, "I think it's a great space to be in, and with the explosion of content that's happening across the world, because, you know, I see young kids today, including school-going children, have a phone in their hands. You look at it; it's not even going to school- silly- other phone in his hand. This generation does not know a newspaper anymore. They don't read newspapers. Now, earlier, I am old guy, so we used to do this, like newspapers; you move page to page. But this generation only knows this. They keep swiping. That's all they know."

Highlighting the amount of content generated through every digital interaction, KTR said the growing volume of content would require companies to work together and build solutions for storing and managing data.

"The thing is, the world has changed quite a bit, and each of those swipes, each of those swipes, is a tremendous amount of content that gets generated, content that gets stored, content that gets disseminated. And each of that, of course, will require many, many, many, many credible entities like Conster coming together, converging together and working together,' he added. (ANI)
