Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], September 9 (ANI): Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis released a special song in memory of legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle, in the presence of music maestro AR Rahman, state Cabinet Minister Ashish Shelar and singer Zanai Bhosle.
The musical tribute was unveiled at an event in Mumbai, bringing together prominent personalities from Maharashtra's political and cultural spheres to honour the enduring legacy of one of India's most celebrated voices.
Maharashtra CM shared details about the tribute song on X, saying, 'Asha Tai's Divine Voice Will Live 'Forever'! On the birth anniversary of Padma Vibhushan and Maharashtra Bhushan awardee, late Asha Bhosle, composer A. R. Rahman has created the beautiful tribute, Asha Forever.
Asha ji's voice was filled with extraordinary energy and emotion. Even at the age of 90, her performances reflected the same passion and vibrancy that touched millions.
Asha Forever is a heartfelt tribute to her remarkable legacy and inspiring journey. Through her timeless songs, Asha ji will continue to bring joy and inspiration to generations to come.'
