FlyQuest and JD Gaming claimed the final two spots in the Knockout Stage in Thursday's action at the Demacia Cup Global Invitational in China.
Wrapping up the Swiss Stage, FlyQuest swept RED Canids and JD Gaming rallied for a 2-1 triumph against Natus Vincere in Round 4.
The League of Legends event runs through Oct. 17 and began with 12 top teams that didn't qualify for the World Championship from the six major global regions. They are competing for a prize pool of 1.5 million Chinese yuan (about $223,800 USD).
The single-elimination Knockout Stage begins on Monday in Beijing, with all matches best-of-five. FlyQuest and JD Gaming joined FEARX, KT Rolster, Team WE, BRION, LGD Gaming and Team Vitality.
