William Contreras had five hits including his third homer in two games, Blake Perkins homered twice and the visiting Milwaukee Brewers beat the Washington Nationals 16-9 on Friday.
Andrew Vaughn had three hits including a home run and Andruw Monasterio had four hits for Milwaukee. The Brewers pounded out 25 hits and have won four of five.
Jose Quintana (8-4) pitched five innings, giving up two runs on six base hits. He fanned four and walked a pair.
Paul DeJong homered, and CJ Abrams had three hits for Washington, which has lost three straight.
Washington's Mitchell Parker (7-11) gave up eight runs on 12 hits in four innings.
Outfielder Brandon Lockridge, acquired from the San Diego Padres on Thursday, occupied the lead-off slot and went 2-for-6 in his Brewers debut.
The Nationals took a 1-0 lead in the first when Abrams led off with a double, went to third on a ground out and scored on a two-out single by Luis Garcia, Jr.
Perkins homered to left with one out in the second to tie it, his first long ball since being called up on July 18.
Milwaukee pulled ahead in the third. Contreras, Christian Yelich and Vaughn opened with singles to make it 2-1. Caleb Durbin's bunt single loaded the bases and Yelich scored on a sac fly by newcomer Danny Jansen. After Perkins popped out, Monasterio doubled home two runs and then scored on a double by Joey Ortiz to make it 6-1.
DeJong homered with two outs in the bottom half to pull Washington within 6-2.
Jansen singled leading off the fifth and Perkins followed with his second homer of the night. Yelich increased the lead to 9-2 with an RBI single later in the inning.
Washington's Brady House singled leading off the sixth and scored on a triple by Daylen Lile. Abrams singled to right field with two outs, plating Lile.
Lockridge singled leading off the seventh and Contreras homered to left. The Brewers added three more runs in the inning, their second five-run frame of the night.
Contreras doubled in the eighth and Vaughn homered to make it 16-4, and Brady House and Robert Hassell III each singled home two runs in a five-run Washington ninth.
