Packers quarterback donated nearly 2,000 pairs of cleats to local youth sports teams in 2025

GREEN BAY In three years as the Packers' starting quarterback,Jordan Lovehas continuously found ways to make a significant impact both on and off the field.
More recently, theteams nominee for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Yearaward donated nearly 2,000 pairs of cleats to youth sports teams in Wisconsin and California through his second annual "10ve for Cleats" campaign.
For every touchdown he scored in 2025, Love pledged to donate new cleats to a youth sports team in Wisconsin and to one in his hometown of Bakersfield, Calif.
With his 23 passing touchdowns during the regular season, Love and the Hands of 10ve Foundation selected 46 teams from more than 200 applications to receive new cleats.
"Watching this campaign grow and bringing it to Bakersfield, my hometown has been incredibly special," said Love. "It's about reaching more kids and helping them just focus on the game."
Those in Wisconsin included Columbus Catholic Schools Softball, Edison Middle School Football, Ozaukee/Random Lake Girls Soccer, Shawano Community High School Football, Gillett High School Softball/Baseball, Coleman High School Football, Green Bay West High School Boys Soccer, Loyal/Greenwood High School Football, Appleton West High School Softball, Peshtigo Middle/High School Football, Edgar Middle/High School Football, Niagara High School Baseball, Oconto Falls Football, Freedom High School Football, Appleton North Girls Flag Football, Water Cities Soccer Club, James Madison High School Football, Boscobel High School Football, New Holstein High School Football, Badger Youth Football, Webster Middle School Football. Milwaukee Public Schools Football and Green Bay Southwest High School Football.
Recipients in Bakersfield included Far West Freedom Football, Bakersfield Black Gold Baseball, Golden Empire Youth Football, Northeast Knights Football, KC Hit Squad Flag Football, Bakersfield High School Girls Soccer, Foothill High School Football, East Bakersfield High School Football, Del Oro Rays Football, South High School Football, West High School Football, GEYF Pride Football, All Out Sports Football, Golden Valley High School Football, Northern Rockets Football, Western Trojans Football, All Out Pee Wee Cowboys Football, Far East Titans Football, KC Heat Baseball, Sierra Middle School Football, Liberty High School Football, Lakeside School Flag Football and Kern High School Softball.
Last year, Love and his foundation donated more 1,300 cleats to 26 Wisconsin sports teams. This year, Love's foundation received 169 applications from teams in Bakersfield as well as teams from 74 different cities across the state of Wisconsin.
In December, Love was named one of 32 club winners for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year, which recognizes players who excel on the field and demonstrate a commitment to creating a positive impact beyond the game.
A national winner for the league's most prestigious award will be announced during NFL Honors Thursday night.
"That's always a part of being an NFL player," said Love of his selection. "It's something I've learned and something I was able to see at a young age and have people be my role models and people I looked up to. All that kind of plays a part into it. It's fun to be able to give back and be able to impact people's lives."
