MENLO PARK, California: Meta Platforms has launched its Meta One subscription service, offering enhanced AI capabilities and new features across Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp.
The service has already reached 15 million subscriptions and trials during its phased introduction. Meta said it plans to offer more than 50 features across its platforms covering content creation, audience engagement and business management.
Meta One monthly plans will start at $2.99 for single products, $7.99 for individual bundles and $14.99 for creator and business bundles.
Single products such as WhatsApp Plus and Instagram Plus will provide app-specific enhancements, while individual bundles will combine those features with advanced AI capabilities.
Creator and business bundles will include professional tools such as verification, advanced analytics, and enhanced support across Meta's social media platforms, the company said.
The subscriptions will help Meta diversify its revenue beyond digital advertising in a crowded market and generate income from its large user base.
Meta averaged 3.60 billion daily active people across its family of apps earlier this year.
The company said its core app functions and basic Meta AI usage will remain free.
"We'll continue to add features and agent skills built to help small businesses and creators with end-to-end marketing, business operations, content creation, and optimization," Meta said in a blog post.
Meta said Meta One will soon expand to Edits and its AI glasses.
