Toronto [Canada], August 22 (ANI): Actors Seth Rogen and Colman Domingo, along with filmmaker Danny Boyle, have been added to the speakers' line-up for the Toronto International Film Festival's (TIFF) Market Summit, which will take place from September 10 to 16, according to Variety.
The industry programme, known as TIFF: The Market, has finalised its conference schedule featuring more than 70 sessions covering key issues and opportunities in the global screen industry.
Rogen and Boyle will be part of 'The Visionaries' strand, which will feature moderated conversations with creators, executives and innovators shaping the future of the global entertainment sector.
Rogen, who will attend the festival with two films, 'Babies' directed by Lauren Miller Rogen and animated film 'Tangles', which he produced with Miller Rogen, will discuss the projects along with his upcoming work, including Season 2 of 'The Studio.'
Boyle will reflect on his filmmaking journey and discuss his latest feature 'Ink,' which is set to open at the Venice Film Festival.
Previously announced speakers for the Visionaries strand include actor Gary Oldman, director Lee Chang-dong and producer Robbie Brenner.
The Dialogues strand will feature conversations between writers, directors, screenwriters and producers focusing on the craft and creative process. Speakers include Hirokazu Kore-eda of 'Look Back' and Yeon Sang-ho of 'Train to Busan,' according to Variety.
Other participants in the strand include Kat Sandler, Rick Hansen, Amber Midthunder, Broderick Johnson, Brad Kane and Cody Lightning. Earlier announced speakers include Pam Abdy, Mike De Luca, Curry Barker and Inde Navarrette.
The Perspectives strand will feature panel discussions on the current state of the global screen industries. Speakers include Colman Domingo, Clint Bentley, Greg Kwedar, Roeg Sutherland and Glen Basner.
Other speakers announced for the summit include Stephen Follows, Michael Dowse, Amanda Lebow, Moses Babatope and Nyla Innuksuk. Previously announced headliners are Christine Vachon and Pamela Koffler.
'Our aim was to reflect the big questions and opportunities facing the industry,' said Charles Tremblay, head of TIFF: The Market.
'Giving delegates the diverse perspectives they need to navigate the shifting global dynamics was also a key part of our strategy; we're thrilled to see how well it's all come together,' he added.
The TIFF Market Summit aims to bring together global film industry professionals to discuss emerging trends, challenges and opportunities across the entertainment landscape, according to Variety. (ANI)
