Pune (Maharashtra) [India], August 24: Symbiosis Institute of Digital & Telecom Management (SIDTM), Pune, a pioneer business school in technology management education under Symbiosis International (Deemed University), has announced the commencement of admissions for the academic year 2027-28 through the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2026. With SNAP registrations already underway, management aspirants can now apply to SIDTM and pursue an industry-relevant education at the intersection of business strategy and technology leadership.
With a curriculum shaped around the needs of the various industries which need digital transformation along with AI transformation, SIDTM offers its flagship M.B.A. in Digital & Telecom Management (D&TM) across three specialisations: Systems & Finance, Marketing & Finance, and AI & Analytics. Graduates from any recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) are eligible to apply, while candidates holding foreign degrees will need an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
SNAP is the common computer-based entrance test for admission to management programmes offered by Symbiosis International (Deemed University). Candidates can appear for the examination on multiple scheduled dates, with the best score considered for the admission process, followed by SIDTM's institute-specific selection process.
'The current era demands management professionals who are equally fluent in business strategy, digital technology and knowledge of AI in business transformations. At SIDTM, our curriculum and pedagogy are designed to instil this balance, enabling our graduates to deliver impactful, commercially viable solutions across industries. As SNAP registrations open, we look forward to welcoming aspiring managers and leaders who are ready to lead India's digital and telecom growth story,' said Dr. CA. Abhijit Chirputkar, Director of Symbiosis Institute of Digital & Telecom Management (SIDTM), Pune
A hallmark of SIDTM's learning approach is its close integration with industry and innovation. The institute has set up state-of-the-art sponsored labs in collaboration with global technology leaders such as CISCO, IBM, AWS, UiPath, and IDS, giving students hands-on exposure to networking, analytics, cloud management, and robotic process automation, blockchain, AI, and IoT, Cybersecurity etc. The global certifications help students to enhance their employability. SIDTM has proved consistent excellent placements over a period of time.
This industry-facing approach comes at a time when India's telecom sector is entering a significant growth phase, with government policy aiming to nearly double annual investment in the sector to 1 trillion by 2030, a push expected to create around 10 lakh new jobs. Supported by strong industry partnerships and a curriculum built around emerging technologies, SIDTM continues to prepare graduates to contribute meaningfully to India's digital and telecom future.
As SNAP applications are already open, aspiring candidates can register for the examination and apply to SIDTM through the official admission portal.
