Jannik Sinner will return to the court at the Six Kings Slam in Saudi Arabia after the event was postponed to December due to security concerns.
Sinner, who won the previous two installments of the event, said earlier this month that he would not compete again this year, needing to treat a knee injury he sustained at Wimbledon in July.
The non-ATP six-player exhibition was set to be held Oct. 21-24 but will now be played Dec. 27-30 after an attack on Riyadh's international airport earlier this month killed 13 people.
The 25-year-old Italian rejoins a field with Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz and Alex de Minaur, who are competing for the $6 million prize.
'I will do everything possible to get back to 100 per cent, I will thank you already in advance for your support and hope to see you very, very soon on court again. Ciao, Ciao,' Sinner told his fans in a social media post earlier this month which said, at the time, he was not going to compete again this season.
Sinner -- a five-time major champion -- needs only a French Open title to complete the career grand slam.
